Less than a day after warning that its continued operations could be at risk, Summa Defence has postponed most of a EUR 4.8m payment linked to an earlier acquisition.

The payment stems from Summa’s acquisition of Nordic Yards, the group behind Finnish shipbuilder Uudenkaupungin Työvene.

Under the new agreement, EUR 1m will be paid in approximately 1.1m new Summa shares in September. The remaining EUR 3.8m will also be paid in shares, but not until spring 2027.
